1. Use Main exercise
Use Main exercise as your primary exercise to complete the prep course. You can try the Easy game and the Medium level when you want to familiarize yourself with new material. To complete the course, however, you need to learn all the study items permanently, and permanent learning is possible only in Main exercise.
2. Practice 2-4 courses at a time
WordDive organizes the courses automatically in a recommended order. You can change courses whenever you want, but the optimal way to complete the course package is to study 2-4 courses at a time. If you have too many incomplete courses, your short-term memory is working with hundreds of unfinished study items at the same time, which slows down your learning.
If you are almost finished with the course package and there are only a few study items missing from each incomplete course, it is okay to have more courses in progress at the same time.
3. Check that all the levels and topics are selected
If you feel like you are not progressing normally, please check the Content page: http://www.worddive.com/en/content. Make sure that you have selected all topics and levels. If you haven't selected them all, you will get stuck and will not be able to finish the course.
4. Listen only when necessary
If you think you know the answer, try to answer without listening. This way you get the best result and can quickly move on to new content. If you don't know the answer, it is better to listen first than to leave the answer field empty. In general it is not good to think too much. Just take it easy and proceed at a swift pace.
5. Track your progress on the Results page
If you have a computer, you can track your progress on the Results page: http://www.worddive.com/en/results. If the blue line of permanently learned items is stuck or descends, try to improve your exercising according to the instructions in this article.
6. Watch out for automatic capitalization
Many mobile devices have a default setting that automatically capitalizes the first letter of the first word. This can slow down your progress. We recommend disabling automatic capitalization.
